Who we are. F Line Designs Ltd (company no. 12189594), Unit D, New Wave House, 4 Humber Road, London NW2 6DW, is the data controller for information collected through this website. Contact: info@flinedesigns.com.
What we collect. When you send the quote form, use our planning application checker, email or call us, we collect your name, contact details, the property address or postcode, a description of your project and any files you send. The planning application checker sends only the map coordinates of your property (no personal details) to public data services run by the government's planning data service (planning.data.gov.uk), the Greater London Authority, the Environment Agency, Natural England and Transport for London, to look up planning constraints. Its map is loaded from OpenStreetMap, whose servers receive your browser's IP address to send the map images.
Why we use it. To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you appoint us, carry out the work. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.
Who we share it with. Our website host processes form submissions on our behalf. If you have allowed analytics cookies, your enquiry is also recorded in our customer relationship system, HubSpot, so we can respond and keep track of it. If you appoint us, we share project information with the councils, building control bodies and other Green Code group companies (for example for structural design) as the work requires. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it. Enquiries that don't lead to an appointment are deleted within 12 months. Project records are kept for as long as we need them for professional, insurance and legal purposes.
Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@flinedesigns.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
