Measured surveys
Every good set of drawings starts with an accurate survey. We measure the house, capture it with a Matterport laser scan and prepare existing plans, elevations and sections.

What we do
Measured survey
Room-by-room measurements of the house as it stands.
Matterport and LiDAR scans
A laser scan that gives accurate measurements and a 3D walkthrough you can revisit.
Existing drawings
Plans, elevations and sections of the house as it is, ready for design.
Photographic record
A dated photographic record of the property and its surroundings.
Neighbouring context
The relevant parts of neighbouring buildings, such as windows near the boundary.
Drawing conversion
Converting old paper or PDF drawings into accurate CAD drawings.

Before you start
What we need, and what sits outside our fee
- From you: the property address, a few photos, and any existing drawings, planning approvals or surveys you have. We arrange the measured survey with you.
- Not in our fee: council planning and building control fees, and specialist reports a council asks for, such as a tree survey or flood risk assessment, unless your fee proposal lists them.
- Your fee proposal sets out exactly what is included for your project before any work starts.
Common questions
Is the survey included in your packages?
Yes. A measured survey is part of our planning drawings and complete package. We also survey on its own if you only need existing drawings.
What is a Matterport scan?
A laser scan of the house that produces accurate measurements and a 3D walkthrough, so details can be checked later without another visit.
